i have asked some modelers how do they manage  to split your time between work,family and gunpla?
Because after work, i never have enough time to spend with my friends, my hobby, my family and never have time to rest properly…and the list continues…  I for one i have a  problem One of the best answer was this:

Simply put, scale modeling is a hobby and, thus, has to come after everything else in my life. As much as I’d love to just go downstairs and work on something, I know that the yard won’t mow itself, and my daughter can’t change her own diapers.

Because of this, the hours I usually work on a model are between 10:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m., but certainly not every night. I love working on models, but I know that it’s about as low as it gets on the list of priorities.

I know that my models won’t pee on the carpet if I don’t let them outside every couple of hours. They won’t shut off the electricity or gas if I fail to take the time to throw money at them. They won’t turn brown and die if I forget to water them. They won’t feel rejected if I choose not to spend time with them. In short, they’ll be there–and waiting–when I have the time to get to them; however much time it takes.

… But that’s just me–your mileage may vary.

PART 1

This is my strike gundam, decided to do a custon pait job similar to de strike noir, but with one or two minor changes.
The frame is painted to imitate a nichel, aluminium plated, the feed colour is replace from red to mat black, and the torso blue also mat black.


when i’ve  put it back together i did did scratch the paint in several places and have to redo in for a little but nothing to worry about.
Still have to paint the head and all the armor plates.

PART 2

change of plans: i am doing a sword strike gundam….and since i don’t have the mg sword pack i’ll SB one =D
first the drawing of the sword using for reference the mg version:

First Barbecue / Primul gratar

La Multi Ani!/Happy New Year!

Long time, no … write.:P

Articolul asta ar fi trebuit sa vina cu poze, de-aia a fost amanat atat. Pentru ca am cautat pozele. Si nu le-am gasit.:(

In fine … evenimentul mentionat in titlu a avut loc pe 22 aprilie 2007, intr-o localitate de langa Targoviste (amatorii de mancat in aer liber o cunosc), iar la asigurarea bunei dispozitii au contribuit uramtoarele ingrediente:

- 2 autori blog (unul fiind, de fapt cauza principala);

- 1 tata;

- 1 sora mai mica;

- 2 colege facultate (dintre care 1 dotata cu aparat foto);

- 1 catel negru;

- 1 minge (cred);

- multa mancare (unele persoane posedau mai putine kg la purtator la vremea respectiva si isi permiteau sa se … “indoape”);

- parca si ceva alcool;

- sucuri mai mult sau mai putin acidulate;

- umorul propriu si personal al fiecaruia dintre participanti (inclusiv catelul).

In rest … presupun ca fiecare a fost la un gratar cel putin o data in viata lui, so … am mancat, am baut, ne-am plimbat si … am cazut prin frunze (eu) si pe deal (sora:P).

Concluzia: Nu se vorbeste la telefon cand cobori dealul.:))

First Walk In The Park/ Prima plimbare in parc

Despre prima plimbare in parc nu e mare lucru de spus.  A fost nevoie doar de un aparat foto (si ala de imprumut …:D)

First movie / Primul film

Nu cu noi, mai.:P Cine s-a gandit la asta, go take a nice nap, nici n-o sa se intample.:D Vroiam sa zic primul film vizionat impreuna.

A fost “Daddy Day Care” (si dupa vreo doi ani am vazut si continuarea, “Daddy Day Camp”). Funny movie, cu o droaie de copii unul mai cu probleme decat altul. Probleme din alea de pana-n sase ani.

Ziceam ca a fost nevoie de cam o luna de convingere (si autoconvingere:P) pentru prima intalnire, ei bine pentru primul film nu a durat asa mult, desi activitatea urma sa se petreaca la domiciliul persoanei in cauza.:P In fine, nu prea eram eu sigura ce si de ce fac, dar am zis “What the heck? Let’s do this.” Probabil ca am zis-o in romana, totusi, pentru ca pe vremea aia nu ma lovise inca inspiratia si nu scriam fiction si fanfiction in engleza. Cat despre “ce” si “de ce”, e tipic pentru subsemnata (sau suprasemnata, depinde unde apare autorul articolului:D) sa caute motive mai adanci/profunde in spatele unui simplu “ma uit la film (ce) pentru ca e vineri seara si m-a invitat (de ce)”.

Imi amintesc ca in seara respectiva aveam un status pe messenger care suna cam asa: “Ma duc sa ma uit la film” sau “Movie night”, ceva de genul asta. Iar o persoana tare draga sufletului meu mi-a cerut detalii si dupa ce i le-am dat, reactia a fost: “You go, girl!”. A fost un fel de sut in fund, scuzati expresia, si mi-am zis, corect “I go, I rock”.:P

Am mancat pufuleti la film.:)) Si, fara sa ne dam seama, s-a transformat in traditie. Acum nu ne mai incurcam cu o punga, doua, ci luam direct sacul.

Dupa “Daddy Day Care” au urmat alte zeci, poate sute de filme (oare am vazut 100?), plus TV series (House, MD, Ghost Whisperer si, mai nou, Star Trek), dar asta a fost primul si ne-a “deschis apetitul” pentru movie nights impreuna.

Concluzia 1: Cine vede azi un film, maine va vedea 100 (+ TV series:P).

Intrebare (numai pentru coautorul blogului): Nu vrei sa ne uitam la “The Italian Job”?:P
